People: Giles Henry-Stogdon
Sound recordist
Giles has been a keen sound recordist since discovering how to press the record and play buttons on his mum's radio cassette player back in the early 70s. This led to work as a Sound Technician for Pegasus Theatre, in Oxford, and for Basic Theatre in London and on tour (SUS, Gary, and Children of a Lesser God). Alongside the performance based projects, Giles is a committed Location Mixer with his own sound gear, and formed his own sound recording company, Norwood Sound, in 2008. Recent work includes film drama and corporate video. Giles worked on two dance films with James Bulley in 2009. This is his first collaboration with Variable 4.
