Visiting Variable 4

The next appearance of Variable 4 is at Faster Than Sound: Soundfields, taking place at Snape Maltings, Suffolk. The installation will be operating for a single 24-hour period, from noon on Saturday 28 May to noon Sunday 29 May 2010. Visiting Snape Maltings and Variable 4 is completely free.

Soundfields is a micro-festival curated by Faster Than Sound, and will host two other works. Blast Theory and Chris Clark have developed a GPS-based work which takes the listener through a journey based upon a missing person. Bruce Gilbert (Wire, Beaconsfield) will be transforming Iken's Big Shed into an immersive audio-visual installation, incorporating field recordings from the area.
